    “The strong competition from hundreds of PV manufacturers during 2010 to 2012 has played a key role in pricing and trade cases being played out globally today. However, despite so many companies seeking to gain market-share, the supply landscape remains dominated by just ten suppliers that have provided almost half of all PV modules installed since the mid 1950s…As a result, the technology landscape has become heavily weighted towards the technologies used by these suppliers, and the number of other manufacturers that subsequently implemented identical process flows using the same substrate types. The most prevalent technology has been p-type multi c-Si, with over 50% of all PV panels currently installed using this module type.” click here for more
