The White House’s $1.5 trillion infrastructure building plan transfers $1.3 trillion of the cost to state, local, and private sources. Along with the administration’s discounted climate science and weakened climate change regulations, engineers and researchers say it leaves the new build plans obsolete and vulnerable to rapidly changing flood patterns and extremes of weather. prepare U.S. infrastructure for this century’s climate change-driven chaos.
